I didn't pay attention to the seats but are the front driver & passenger seats the same as 05-11? I was wondering if the wet okoles seat covers will fit on the 2012. anyone?

I'm sold! I've been going back and forth between an '11 and a '12, and one of the things that got my attention was the new flooring. I know several guys that have similar stuff in their rigs and loved it. Now that I know it's not just floor mats I'm in. Now I just have to explain to my wife why HD all weather flooring is absolutely essential.

Can someone help me out? I'm sitting here in Hawaii and can't get any pricing of any sort here.

I want to get the pricing for a 2012 DCAB 4x4 manual with TRD offroad package and beyond that as bare bones as possible. can someone give me a ballpark figure? I know Hawaii will be different (probably higher) but help me out!

Try Edmunds.com...looks like 2012 pricing is available. It's just gonna depend on how Servco decides to bring them in. They usually only bring in certain packages. Like on my '11....if I wanted JBL, it came with the tow package....I have no idea why?

I'm surprised I haven't seen any '12s driving around Oahu yet. I was at the Sand Island Servco parts center...and they had tons of '12's sitting there...got to take a quick look. Pretty nice looking!

Servco hasn't started selling the 2012 yet. I think they have too many of the 2011's still. Since they have a monopoly on Toyotas, they can afford to delay the release. I put down a deposit on a '12, and they said they anticipate releasing them on Nov 11.

The 2012 Tacoma with the Display audio/ Navigation and Entune option the brochure states that it will display "vehicle information." What vehicle information is displayed?

Tire pressure in each individual tire?

    Miles to empty?

    Oil life?

Just some things I have seen in other vehicle and am wondering if the Tacoma now offers some of the same information.

I hate it when the let the trucks sit out there at sand island. It takes a beating in the elements. Just kind of ruins the "new" feeling when you know its been sitting in the sun and salt air for several months.

Yeah servco has weird packages. They always do that, its pretty impossible to get exactly what you want.

I reserved a DCSB with the TRD Sport Package in Super White. What are you getting, forana?

I've asked a couple dealers about finding a truck with the vinyl flooring. This is the response I got from one:

"I've been looking all over to find the code I needed to see about the vinyl flooring and I finally found it. Currently, it appears that these are in extremely limited production. I've found less than 30 through out the entire nation and not all of them are even at dealers yet (some are still on order) and none coming to CO. From what I can see, you will have to have the TRD Offroad package in combination with it."

I saw somewhere on TW that the code is FL. It sounds like the best bet is to just order a truck with it, but I'd really like to get a look at it before so I can tell the quality.

N8dogg, is that prerunner or 4x4?

I want a DCSB 4x4 manual with offroad package. IF, big IF, i can afford it. Need it to be near 30,000 out the door. Otherwise I might have to go with the prerunner.

x2. Hope Toyota doesn't decide the tacoma's deserve the same attention Dodge gave the durangos and Ford gave the exploders when it comes time for the ground up redo. They went from perfectly capable rock mauler to mall crawler in a few years flat. My first impression was 4runner w/ a bed, which isn't all bad.

Did you check about Servco honoring the warranty? I was going to buy a Lexus from my connection in Ca and they said they (Servco) would not honor the warr. This was a few years back

The one I brought from Ca was ok , but living in Hawaii and buying on the mainland was not cool in their eyes

I'm thinking about getting a 2012... but I can't decide on a color. Not many 12's in the area so I've only been able to see MGM. I have a black car now, so I'm looking for a change away from such a dark color. I really like the Nautical Blue but it's too dark, and black is already out. I'm leaning towards MGM and SW. Can anyone who owns a '12 in one of these two colors post some pictures? Thanks!
