    I just want to know if I messed up by cutting out the horizontal plastic bars from the original grill surround? How is the best way to attach the mesh to the grill surround?

    Look at build!
    you can either epoxy/fiberglass some bolts to the underside of the grill were the mesh will overlap or i used zip ties and it worked out great for me!
