I ended up getting this on the 15th of this month. Got it for $347 OTD. Annoyingly enough, I have not had a chance to take it to the range though.

I will take pics at the range of the groupings and distance with my opinion of it on this thread afterwards.

    Too big for a .380, my lcp is small and dead accurate. {painted the sights}

The pic of it in my hand is misleading. although the bg is barely longer and taller, it is a thinner gun. also the sights that come with it are awesome for a .380, and the little laser is a nice plus.

so saying its too big is a bit exaggerated when the specs are nearly the same.

actually feels very good. just need to shoot the damn thing to give a real opinion. I did handle the lcp a bunch before going with the bg380.

the lcr is an awesome gun. maybe that will be my first revolver.

The gun smith told me to stay away from purchasing a handgun with the short/small barrel, He said they are not accurate. so I got the Sig 9mm and Ruger 22

I see your point, but I don't want to pull out a pea shooter and the other guy pulls out a cannon.

There are many variables to different situations, granted the person may have let's say a 45acp. Ok, well does he know you have a pocket pistol??

So at this point, said douchebag has a what you assume to be loaded firearm pointed at you. Ok I see what you're saying.

But what if you're at a convenience store, and some dude walks in with a gun, threatening to kill everyone if he don't get some cash, and stat. At this point does it really matter what you have on you?? Self preservation is the only thing that comes to mind for me. Gonna be honest. Would he notice you with a 45 tucked under your tee in an inside the pants holster?? Most likely. Bam your the first target.

But you have your trusty steed of a pocket pistol which is much more concealable.

Now what to do?? Here is where it gets tricky. Is your life in danger??? Maybe. Hmm. So do I be the hero and shoot him?? Might go to jail for that. But he IS robbing a store. Quite the predicament huh.

    But that's just situational.

Over all I personally would rather carry a 380 pocket rocket, than a cumbersome 1911 45.

My personal choice. Once again. Different strokes, for different folks.

I carry a Glock 23 (mid-size .40 cal) everywhere- and I do it "Mexican carry" meaning no holster or anything, just tucked in my waste band. Any nobody notices it.

I know this because I'm always sub-consciously checking for the 'bulge' that indicates someone is concealing a gun. And I assume most cops do this as well. That said, no one- not even a cop has noticed my gun on me.

The truth is, you can only notice somewhere carrying it(assuming its concealed) if you know what you're looking for and where to look for it. If you don't look at someone and think 'where's his gun- and most don't take such an approach- you/the robber won't see it.

In other words, not only will you not see my front-pocket Keltec .380- you can't even see my G23. Or my Sig 220 for that matter

    That's racist. Lol

I had a springfield xd40 3" barrel. It was decently concealable. But pretty heavy, and I have a 31" waist. So it is super fail to conceal for me. I think that's why I wanna go pocket rocket.

 well thats just like, your opinion, man.

 I read tons of reviews and look at as many forums as I could before I bought this BG. It seems like 7 out of 10 people had problems with their kel-tecs
Im glad you posted this. I too have a 31" waist and its nearly impossible for me to conceal anything unless it fits in my pocket. I was really close to ordering a 3" XD to fill the gap untill my BG came back... you just saved me 400 bucks...for now.

you should tell them to keep it and grab a ruger lcp instead. same size, same round, way cheaper with a million times better dependability. Oh and the trigger is better. Better yet, grab the lc9 and have a 9mm pocket rocket.

also, whoever said the robber will pick you out first if they see the 1911 in your waistband is lol.
