got my bed mat!!

    i used the ebay gift certificate i won to buy my rubber bed mat that i had been wanting for a while. i ordered it on sunday evening,and it came in today!!! holy crap.....now thats some fast shipping!!! the bed mat is custom fit, and it fits perfectly in the 6 foot bed of my prerunner!! it will help keep alotta the stuff i lug around from time to time from sliding all over hell and half of georgia:D!! i just want to give due props to truckspecialties on ebay. if anyone of ya'll ever buy truck stuff from ebay, definitely check these guys out!! you wont be disappointed!! oh, and in another thread, some of us were talking about cutting the mat to fit around the d-rings.....no need. those corners are already trimmed out for you!!;) and incase anyone was wondering, the bed mat is made buy trail fx!!

    definitely...........if its free,its for me!!!:D i still had to pay the remainder, which was like, $30...........you cant beat a bed mat for that price!!!

    thats a good price. i paid $90, from the dealer. but it fits perfect. and stuff does not slde around on it. its awesome

    We have a company here that recycles old tires and Make a great Mat.

    53 for my Tacoma access cab. About an inch thick and has cutouts for teh d rings not just hacked off corners...

    They also weight down teh back of the truck a bit...

    Soft No... Just Like in a weight room.. the rubber mat VERY DENSE.

    (also used on some tracks here as runways for track and field.. long jump)

    looks like some pretty good protection for the bed. damn,that stuff is thick as hell too!! nice!


    hey lsocoee.............i think the only way that would be comfortable to lay on is if you were drunk and passed out on it!! good to prevent stuff from sliding......bad for the back:D!!

    but yes it is think and heavy... similar to the spray in liners when it comes to protection but adds about 50-75 lbs or weight in the bed for winter traction.

    OME 3" lift MK6 wheels 285 Fierce MTs & 4.88s!!
    I did kinda the same thing. I went to our local Agri-Supply and got "horse mat". They use them in horse stalls and horse trailers. They are solid rubber and about 5/8" thick. They come 4'x6', so I had to cut about 3" off each side in the front and 1' off the length with a razor knife. Heavy enough not to blow around and will last forever. Best part...$45. Goes right by the d-rings too.
