Why? spacers are cheaper and don't cause problems. i would love to get aftermarket wheels but don't really have the $$$ at the moment. i don't see me buying any in the near future either.

I'll call the dealership and check. But why would they mess with my front end? Having trd sport shouldn't they just change rear leafs? Hell it's worth a try!

could someone please explain as if I'm a retard(cause I am) the difference between the TSB rear and AAL? I keep seeing people on here saying that they have the TSB and want to do the AAL also.

Reason I'm asking is cause I have a 09' DCSB pre/Sport that I have not done anything to and just found out about this TSB thing. Rear does ride pretty harsh in the rear loaded or unloaded and I am planning to talk to my dealer about it. Unfortunetly I'm sitting at 52k and hoping to get the TSB rear done. Would I still want to do the AAL if I get my TSB rear done? Plan is to do the 5100 set at 1.75" up front.

Thanks in advance for the help and answers.

rear tsb, bilstein 5100's all around, trd exhaust.
Bilsteins set at 1.75, rear tsb and new duratracs. The truck seems to ride much better on the road with the new 5100's.

i see what you're saying. i'm not rubbing or anything so ifi got spacers or wheels it would be for looks and a wider looking stance. maybe santa will bring me something nice this year. :D

What is the TSB compared to the 1.5 AAL? Im getting so confused now lol. How much lift do you get from the TSB?

The Rear Leaf TSB just adds a leaf so that the leaf pack in the rear adds up to 4 leafs. If you get an AAL for a lift for a truck that has had the TSB done, you need the 1.5'' AAL instead of the 2'' to level out. The TSB adds an inch or two of lift to the rear but mostly settles back down.

ya mine came stock with it (all Canadian trucks did) but i never understood the actual lift of it. I just as we speak ordered the 5100's for the front and am gonna set them at 1.75 with the 4th leaf already there and 265/70/17 BF Goodrich AT's. Anyone think I should get 5100's in the rear too? My truck already has the yellow and blue HD bilsteins, so Im waiting to decide on the 5100's

the TSB just kind of "stiffens" the ride for when your hauling stuff. not considered a "lift" although it does give .5"-1". i don't have the TSB so it looks like i may need to go with a 2" AAL.

as for the rear 5100s, i didn't get them but when i put the AAL in, i'll need the 5100s or maybe 5125s, they're slightly longer. that'll be researched when the time draws near. :D

Bilstein 5100s @ 1.75 with 1.5 AAL, Satoshi Grill Mod with 2 Hella 500s behind the grill, LED dome and map lights, custom made (by me) 10" subwoofer box behind the dbl cab seat, DVD/iPod/Bluetooth/GPS/TV/USB/Stereo, Yakima rack, Shell, tinted front windows to match the factory backs. Backup cam in the tailgate handle mod.
Mine at 1.75 before and after aal. It was 0.5" lower in back, now 1" higher after 1.5" aal. Definitely better with aal. That little 0.5" (although not very noticable) drove me crazy! At certain angles you could tell the rear sat a little lower and when you put weight in bed it was more noticable. I am going to go to 2.5" soon. I will post if any ride diffence and any problems I encounter!
