Hey everyone! I have a 2009 Taco TRD Sport Double Cab, I'm researching rims and tires and have read just about every thread and now have a pretty good understanding of sizes, however.....I still have a question! After reading I have decided to go with a 285/65/18 Terra Grappler tire, and I'm looking at XD Diesel 18 X 9 wheels with a zero offset ( AKA 5" Backspacing). I also plan on adding a 3 inch body lift (probably a block in front and aal rear). I dont mind mild trimming and I am not going offroad, just wondering if anyone has any comments BEFORE I drop the 2500 bucks! THANKS!

What the hell is a block in front? You mean a coil spacer? Blocks usually pertain to leaf springs. And $2500.oo bucks... yikes. Can you break down the prices? Like a itemized reciept...

I am very confused by your post, because a body lift contains neither a block nor an aal.

However, you are going to have to do a decent amount of trimming to get those to fit with 5" backspacing, but it's possible, the guy with rockstars do it, since those only come in 5" BS.

Sorry, by "block" I mean strut spacers. as for price breakdown: $729 for rims, $849 for tires $210 for TPMS (tire pressure senders), $180 for shipping, $170 for lift kit and $200 for install.

Why not put money towards a nice 3" suspension lift?
