Long story short. It was a 3rd party warranty and it was a pain in the ass to deal with for him, they were trying to avoid paying if possible and had unreasonable requests. The truck had a lot of stuff that needed to be fixed on it i.e. tranny, steering rack, and a few other things. As much as I hate his decision it was the right one too. He was better off dropping the truck now.

I will drag him around with me. He can be my spotter when I wheel so he remembers how much he loved his truck and wants a new one.

LoL I told you before I am cool with your dad riding one. I always said, medically if thats what you have to ride for reasons like that I am totally cool with it. in fact I applaud your dad getting out there and riding one!!! Trust me, we dont need to start trading motorcycle war wound from ourselves and others Jay. I was a MSF instructor, a road racer, a command motorcycle safety specialist, and have given up my flesh and blood to the road gods at the hands of car drivers at well. I myself spent many months in the hospital from a car-motorcycle accident so I know the pain, feeling, dangers, and results of being involved or knowing people that are involved.

I brought up the Can-Am because Will has been with me at a bike shop and driving around when I have seen one. I just get an utter look of contempt on my face when i see them and he laughes at it. They are like finger nails on a chalkboard to me. 99% its the bike, not the rider that bothers me.

I just hate that thing. Its comical to me how much I hate it, I dont know why, I just do. It was meant more as a joke to Will (Zombie) because he keeps threatening to get one and come hang out with me.

So, on that note... LIGHTEN UP FRANCIS :p

I'll just go with...........nice sidestep on the taco problems, element much better than soul IMO, practicality & versatility have their virtues, best looking microbox on the market, the gas savings might help towards another truck down the road & enjoy. I have actually considered an element but not as a replacement for my car or truck tho.

In all honesty I am considering something like an older Jetta diesel or something like that as a daily driver. I have put 21K miles on my truck alone this year. I will make sure Will does not fall off the face of the earth (unless its on a Can-Am Spyder, LMAO)

I will still be coming to the meets mainly b/c all the people Ive met have been cool (except Chas, that dude is a dick). I do miss feeling bigger then most vehicles in my Taco, but with the trans going out I couldn't justify keeping it. Plus the payments on this are alot cheaper, not to mention the gas savings and Insurance. Hopefully eventually I will be able to get another Taco, but we'll see.
