I own mine outright no payments at all. I took my Toyota buyout money and incentives and then worked a sweet deal paid cashed and walked away. Now I just hope my 08 is good for 327,000 miles like my 96 was.

Mine is a lease too. With my previous situation with a piece of #*%! VW and a totaled 97 taco the lease was my best option to get out from under the VW. I set it up with agreement to buy my 09 at the end of a 4yr lease for 13,700. I never have leased before so i hope it turns out in my favor but hell if this 09 holds value like my 97 did i'll be ok.

I'm leasing mine...the monthly payments are much less than if I would have purchased it. I plan on keeping my Taco and buying it out at the end of the lease.

Don't take what the bank offers on the lease. You can get it for wholesale value. Offer them wholesale or less than wholesale at the end. I did that with a Jeep & it saved me 4k.

i bought mine. my last vehicle (magnum srt8) was a lease because i could not afford the monthly on a new 40K dollar car. it actually worked out better because i change vehicles so frequently. i wasnt tied down and let me get rid of the car without being upside down on the loan. now i have decided not to buy vehicles like they are a fashion statement so I plan on holding onto this one until the end of the loan- which i have only done with one other vehicle before. i am paying a little extra every month so hopefully that cuts a couple payments down in the end.

65% down and 57 payments to go... Payments are very low but I should pay it off sooner.
