No offense, nice truck and all, but J is right, they aren't really necessary to the thread. I had this thread to give people a list of the bumpers with a starting point and so that they know where to start and can go from there.

If you have bumpers that aren't on the list, please feel free to post a picture so that I may add it to the OP.

Think about it this way.....you own a store and fail to clean up a water spill the someone slips on it and breaks their neck. You would be at fault in this case for neglegence. In the case of someone running into your bumper which is not DOT approved and injures themselves yes you would be partially at fault for your neglegence....at least where I am from. After all why doesn't someone put huge spikes sticking out of their bumper. Flame on:rolleyes:

This thread is about bumper options not your opinion on liabilities. How about you leave your truck stock "its safer" that way.

    Problem in red.

Where I am from, we expect adults to be responsible for themselves. I realize this is an anomaly amongst developed western nations. I also like a lot of the ways Canada handles some things (health care, for example). That said, me being at fault for someone else doing something is fucking stupid. I am not clairvoyant and cannot alter the world to ensure their safety through every single one of my actions.

As for the spikes, they ruin approach angle; but they would be legal. Here.

Planning your bumper for a wreck is like planning a rifle design for misfiring. You're using it wrong.

I hope this is the right place. I bent the rear bumper on my 06, and am looking to replace it with the same factory bumper. I'm trading it on a 2012, so I want the most I can get out of it. I looked at u pull and pay, but they don't have anything in the Colorado Springs area in their online inventory. Any thoughts? Putting the sexy bumpers on the 2012 will have to wait. I used most of my mojo selling the wife on the new truck. Baby steps.
