If that is all that it is; then it is a positive thing overall. You will get to keep your original knees; but they are going to hurt like there is an ice pick buried in there. You can get used to it though. I have had a tear in my left knee for 6 years now. If I could ever stay off of it for a month or so it should heal up better; but that just isn't feasable anymore.

My brother had a torn minescis and had an out patient knee scope to repair it. I think the recovery from it was really quick.

Any of you guys in north DFW have a garage full of tools that might help a newb put 5100s all the way around set at .85 in front? My buddy was going to help, but can't until Nov. 5, and with a baby due around that time, i'd like to have it done before then. anyone wanna take me under their wing? :)

I don't mind paying someone to do it, but 4 wheel parts wanted $250 to put them on. I already have the shocks in the garage.

I've got a garage with some tools. Do you have them assembled already? I'm not too versed with a spring compressor, all my suspension experience has been compressor-less.

although I think A7XTaco did his w/o a compressor from what I read somewhere. He's in plano too.

If you go to 4wp and get the coils mounted on the struts ($50-70) you could do it at my place. I just put in 5100s on 885 coils 2 days ago. Im confident i coulf get it done in under 2 hrs easy. Probably 1.5hrs

Yea a physician can only do so much. Usually theres no point to the X-ray it only shows bone and if you really messed up cartilage. The mri he'll send you to a hospital to take and they take about a week or less to get back to him. Hopefully you might have only done minor damage and can do P.T to make it better.

Where you located? I would do that only problem is I'm using the stock coils so i'd have to come over, take them off, take them to 4wp, then back to your place to install.

When I bought it, Leer camper shell, N-Fab nerf bars, Westin bull bar. So far I've put K&N air filter and Jet Performance throttle body spacer, lights behind grill, snorkel, custom grill, and weather tech floor mats. Axe and shovel w/bed mounts, high lift jack w/bed mount, and Brute force fab rear bumper.
Anyone down by Victoria? I think it's funny when people from out state (Texas) say Texans are so stuck up. Well not really we just love our state! Here's some examples, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, and I believe Nissan all make a "Texas" edition truck. And then in bigger cities in there mall we have a Texas store, everything Texas from the colleges, to the pro teams to just stuff about Texas. I think they're just mad because they can drive across there state in a few hours, whereas we can drive half a day and still be in our state. It would be weird an Alaska or Hawaii edition truck or any other state for that matter. Like the song says, "God Bless Texas"! :D

And yes i do see that problem. It took 2 days to get mine back. Multiple places around me rent out compressors. I just wasnt comfortable using one.

Usually the compressors you rent at the parts store are strong enough for the taco springs. If it's the stock ones it might work but it's just so easy to have a shop assemble them in 10 min.

generally more expensive as well  I have only had trouble with harbor freight compressors, go figure right
