    This truck is a work truck - not a lot of fancy mod's here, but it's getting the job done!
    cleaned the rims on my truck finally - They had been this way since I bought the truck, but I really have been strapped for time till today... Here's the pic's before and after - all I gotta say is that they are very disconcerting.

    The process started with WD-40 and a drill with a wire brush and then a second drill with a fine wire brush that polished up after the first brush knocked off the really thick stuff... Then, I washed and wiped with acetone to remove the remaining oils and sprayed with lacquer to protect the aluminum from oxidizing again. Not bad, considering I was considering new rims - this process only took me about 3 hours of elbow grease. And yes, they are aluminum.

    Use the chalk method since every tire and vehicle is different. I'm running 32psi in the front and 22psi in the rear when it's unloaded. of course more weight means more air pressure.... so I have to fill up the rears when I'm hauling stuff.
    :eek: NO! Unless you don't care at all about your tires or the ride quality... beacause you'll at least get some AWESOME mpgz, dood!!!!! :thumbsup:

    it was a bold move with those chrome bolts but it turned out lookin pretty sick

    Today I installed a cb radio into the truck. I put it right behind the center console and I don't know if I like that yet. It's kinda awkward to reach back to turn any knobs. Put the antenna in back left corner of bed. Having horrible engine interference when I turn the truck on, the good thing is I'm getting a lift soon and the guy doing the lift said he'd fix the interference too so thats good. :)
