There's a completely seperate plastic rock cover, I'm sure it would be fine. But how much heat?

I wish these were spot instead of euro pattern. Still tempting though at the price!

I've had euro beam hella's before, and while they did push out quite a bit further than the headlights and had a nice beam, they didn't push out nearly as much as spots. If I do these lights, it will be a roof full of spot lights for distance and a short LED bar on the bumper for up close.

Does anyone know if the 7" lights will fit behind a first gen (01-04) grillcraft, or should I go with the 4"?

I've read through all of the posts and searched...

You probably need the 4's! The 7's will be tight behind the 05+ grills and they have more room behind the grill!

Ask JLee how that worked out for him :spy:

Conversely, you should not need to charge AZ tax when shipping out of state.

He's the one doing the buy so he's getting charged tax. Only makes sense that it gets passed onto us.

If we bought direct from the vendor it would be a different story. We'd save on the tax but would also be paying full price.

The way it typically works is you show your business/reseller license at the time of puchase to avoid being charged.

I understand you guys working as a shoestring operation might not be able to do it as a practical matter, especially if the supplier has a "retail only" agreement with his parts distributor.

But you're not buying from a business. You're sending money to an individual who is buying from a business on your behalf and getting a bulk discount as a result. There is no business/reseller license because there's no business to license.
