you are correct. I have never done any illegal drug before. I never even tried a cigarette before. I smoke cigars sometimes, but thats not really smoking.

wow, thats a rare thing to be able to say. my gf has never smoked either. she wants to try it but she likes being able to say she has not tried it in 26 years. she has recently expressed some interest, and if she wants to thats cool but i dont bring it up cause i dont want her to feel pressured.

i think its cool/admirable that you have never tried drugs. but at the same time experience counts for a lot in this type of argument. i am in no way trying to say your opinion means less than anyone elses, i'm just trying to say that its hard to see both sides of an argument (drugs or otherwise) if you have not been on both sides.

i completely understand where tigerfan is coming from because i use to think the same way. but i also understand where sonjay is coming from because i've been (and currently am) on that side of the argument.

Edit: sorry if that came off condescending because i definitely didn't mean it that way but i'm afraid after re reading it that i may be sounding like an asshole

I'm taking concerta. I get headaches sometimes nothing like what your describing though. When I was young I was on Ritalin, that shit is terrible, when I took that I was just a zombie, didn't talk, didn't play, didn't do anything.

some of that actually sounds like what i go through when i take my stuff. I started out on ritalin and it sucked bad. it jacked me up more and made me even more violent than adderall does. it also made me itch all over. the nurse said that was one of the more rare side effects. it sucked so bad! my whole body itched for days

did you miss the numerous posts where I said it should be legalized? Sure, I've never done it....but I also never really cared to either. I spent my money on other things like racing cars. I also got to see the other side of the stoners as well. When all my friends were getting smashed on weed, I got to see how incredible stupid they acted too. I am not one to give up my body to any substance to the point where it makes me act completely different. I love drinking, but I do not binge drink or drink to the point that I don't know where I am or what happened.

Sponsers have to drop him just because they're concerned about their image and publicity.

He's a young kid and kids do stuff like that. Still he went on to break records.

    Really, who cares.

He's convicted by the public and media.

While I would guess that he's been smoking pot for awhile...this happened AFTER his medals and glory and fame...he tested clean before and at the olympics...he didnt smoke pot and go on to win gold or break records etc...

I saw Bill Meher or whatever his name is on Larry King last night while I was picking up sushi for the girl and i for dinner...and he was going on about how he can still break records while smoking a little pot etc etc...im sorry...but theres no way you can tie smoking AFTER the fact to the fact that he's probably the best swimmer to have ever lived
