TRD seats into a base model - now airbag light is on?

As title suggests...

I have an 06 base model double cab, I got some trd sport seats from an 06 double cab. All the plugs were the same however now my airbag light is on the dash and the sensor that there is a passenger doesn't work.

Any suggestions where to start?

 

Pull the negative battery terminal and wait about 10 min and try it again.

 

X2 and check all the plugs...

thanks guys I'll give that a go. Hopefully I can get it sorted cause the seats look and awesome and are super comfortable.

 

Do the "new" sport seats have the side airbags? I know the old base model seats don't, but not sure when they started putting them in the higher models.

As a side note, if the old seats are light gray, I would be interested in the lower upholstry for the front passenger's seat if it's in good shape, and you would be interested in selling just that. PM me if you are interested.

 

No side airbags in either trucks in 06. Upholstery on passenger side is in good shape as I had seat covers. If I get these trd seats working I'll send you a PM.

 

Swapped out the passenger sensor computer and everything is good now...

Oh yeah these seats rock!!

 

I have thought about swapping the seats on my SR5 for the nicer seats. Where did you find the TRD sport seats?
