Suspension Help?

07 Double Cab And I Want A Nice 3" lift Suspension That Will Be Mainly On Road. The Guy Down At The Four Wheel Parts In Fort Worth Suggested Pro Comp But I'm Not Sure How They Are Seeing As How They Are The Cheapest (price is an issue).

Go with Icon, Dakar pack, LR UCA'S, Longer rear break lines, 285/75/16's and a grinder/ Roto Zip for triming. Cheap is just that.

i heard about the 5100s from bilstein but idk if they are of good quality and as good as the pro comp. ive notive alot of people go with OME and toytec or even fox but im on a budget and it would be kind of pointless to go all out on an OR suspension when 90% of the time im on road.

have you guys tried these suspensions and what do you guys think? i was reading the description from the icon but its just so damn expensive compared to OME and Bilstein.

 

Check out my gallery. Basically you remove the shock from the vehicle and put a spacer in between the top of the shock and where it mounts on your truck to create a lift. It's cheap, and it's for guys who won't do any major off roading, it's a lift for looks only. Many guys bash em' and many guys swear by em'. You'll find that everywhere about everything. If you're not on a budget, then go with a more functional lift like the bilstein 5100 or the OME lift. There are so many lift options for these trucks that it is tough to decide what you want. Do your research, if you still want a inexpensive lift, then I will be more than happy to sell you mine. I can give you tech support before and during the install as well.

 

I have the OME 885 kit with the Dakars and LR UCA's , I like it .

Whats your price range? That is a better question. I would say for the cheapest lift to level the front end. the 5100's are your best bet. Now the OME front shock is made to use with their spring, it is also 1 inch longer i believe, but you do not get to adjust the height as you do in the 5100's. Also the OME shocks are a larger diameter shock then stock. The 5100's are larger but not by much compared to stock.
