Hmmm. Maybe I will do both film and bulbs. not too comfortable doing HID's in the fogs, as I have seen them melt lenses or start fires before.

I sprayed the lenses w/ about 4 coats of the krylon stained glass paint. It is absolutely perfect. No need for colored bulbs either.

sweet. i was just wondering about how many coats would do. i want to get the paint soon maybe this week. only thing is i would have to take them out for a day or 2. starting to get to cold to paint.

mind if i ask how much the paint is? i don’t want to drive 25 min or so to the hobby store and find out i’m $5 short. lol i have done stuff like that before.

Has anyone run into hazing issues using the krylon tint method? I sprayed mine about 30 mins ago, three coats, and they seem to be very hazy. Any solutions?

    Stock for now.
^what ddid u do? Did you prep the area?

I haven't done anything to our taco, let alone drive it yet. Its my dads and we just lliterally bought it 7.10.12.

I did however use krylon stain glass paint on my fogs for my celica I sanded down(to get dirt and grime off mainly) and cleaned the glass projectors, then I sprayed indoors with multiple light coats. Indoor because its dry and no humidity.

last time I installed some 3000k hids they had a slight greenish color to them I didnt like , I recommend going with HIDS and also use the yellow firm or spray along with it for a perfect look.

I cleaned the lense and prepped it. Might have been the humidity. No beating it in Missouri :(.

Alright I just got the Nokia bulbs, H10...but they won't freaking go in their freaking home...everything looks like a match compared to stock, but they won't go in. Driving me effing nuts. Stocks, no problem, Nokia's, just end up wanting to snap them in half. Is there a trick I'm missing with these things?
