Wasnt drunk, I have an A class CDL license and cycle too. I was ripping a local backroad, (one lane country drive 15mph zone) well over 60mph. Cops here would see that in the damage, and write me for reckless and take my A class away. stupid reckless. I cant iupload pointless pics from phone currently. They don't show the electronic issues I'm having with ABS or Windows, etc. Happy to post pics for you guys to hawk over. Can someone please offer a direction for the questions I have asked. I have always contributed/received great help here. Let's continue that please. Sincerely, Brett

hmmm. breaks and abs sensors are not really my strong suit but heres what I know. Your ABS sensors run on a toothed gear, as the upper teeth and lower teeth pass threw the sensor (as the wheels turn) It registers the high teeth in the gear for a count of how fast your wheels are spinning.

As far as I know all that ties into the electronics and correlates with how fast your going + how hard your trying to break for it to decide to activate the abs system.

Also. Say what you will but I'm happy to be safe and not have hurt someones mother, father, sibling kid or spouse. I thank god everyday that's passed that I'm safe and that's all thats truly important. its an ill gotten reward to claim something like that. I'm not claiming it. I will hate myself for an ill gotten reward for a.total cognitive decision that I made in lieu of my own fun in that moment. Gawker pics will come tomorrow. I promise. Please advise any help you can

I think I've made that painstakingly clear... This thread is about my brakes, windows, and some other small things.however I don't know what facepalming is but I'm certain its not good. I know I did wrong. I think I've made it clear that I have and will continue to be mindful of my decisions, furthering my life and those around me for the better. Off to bed up @ 5

It's good that you admit it, I guess, but seriously this is what insurance is for. It's not a "reward", as you call it. Why pay them if you're not going to use them?

OP, there's just been a slew of threads on here about guys who have totaled their truck.

99.9182% of them started off with a bs story about how they were completely innocent, how freak conditions caused the crash.

within a few hours, it usually turns out that speed, alcohol, douchebaggery, or any combination of the three actually caused the accident, and the OP of the thread is trying to find damage control advice from other members.

This one is kind of exactly the same as the others.

It's good that you admitted you F'd. But because what you did was ultimately dumb on your part, expect some gratuitous flaming. Also, theres many LEO's on here that will probably interject later...

    ^^^

This, theres only so much we can tell you really, its electrical check and TEST all your fuses, i've seen fuses that look fine but failed an actual voltage check. since your door controls are fubar, check the connections, etc. etc.

You don't have to report it to the cops at this point. Tell your insurance company you were on your private property or some bullshit and it's fine. It's worth saving 29 headaches.
