    whats the trick to carving the pumpkin so light shines through it but you dont actually cut through the pumpkin? used when creating very detailed pictures.

    derp, dont carve all the way through the pumpkin. Use logic, light travels through the skin, and so the thinner the skin the more light shines through.

    A cheap little kit will provide you with tools and patterns. A cordless Dremel works wonders.

    Boat are any of those yours, I seem to reconize a few from the net.
