Ran a short local trail tonight with a fellow board member. Had a good time and smashed up front stock skidplate. Time for a new one.

I can't bitch, bought the wheel set with lug nuts for $375 off of craigslist and got those 33.5x12-17 Toyo Open Country M/T's used for $300 off of craigslist. That's the only way I could afford the $1700 for the lift kit...:D

I bought used 33's because I am hoping that 35's will actually fit and then I can go spend the real $$$$$ on the ones I want when I wear these down.

Does anyone know where to get some plans for skidplates and bumpers for gen1 Tacoma's?

I have all of the materials lying around, just don't want to have to engineer more than I have to since my taco is my daily driver.

    Thanks man...

I do computer work so I troll craigslist for parts and such while I am waiting on scans to finish and such.

Just bought a aluminum work topper for my 2004 DoubleCab, one of those ones that cost about $2500, for $280 off of craigslist:D. I have to have space to store tools and such for work, so all 4 of my Tacoma's have had them.

Lookin for some new leaf springs for the taco was originally gonna go buy stock dorman one and get a progressive aal from icon for them, cause the route would be cheaper than any other option.
But found these while going through Amazon. Pro comp 33211 leaf spring, the site did have any pics so here are some that do

    What do you guys think?

That's awesome man. It seems like the craigslist posts in the Massachusetts area are pretty shitty. I've been looking for a silver bed cap to match my truck for months, and I've also been looking for wheels/tires. It's either A) posted way to expensive B) some shit I don't want or C) something I really want, but I would have to drive more than 4 hours to get to it orsomething dumb like that.

Got my Massachusetts inspection sticker yesterday. You have to get your vehicle inspected every year up here. They test your E-Brake by engagining it and than bring the vehicle up to about 1200 RPMS to see if it'll hold. . . Problem is I have an Auto so I never use my E-Brake. Guy that was inspecting it still passed me (suprising because most of them are pretty strict) even though whe he was doing the E-Brake test it made my E-Brake stick. Sucks. Now I have to go to class, go to the store, get some penetrating lubricant, and free up the damn brake cables.

Well, I only got the truck about a week and a half ago and I knew when I bought it that there was going to be a lift in the near future. So, when I had some cash fall into my lap, I decided to put it directly into the truck so it was ready for winter.:)
