    Something about the adjustment mechanism or something like that. I don't know but I have had uncalled fliers while making adjustments before and since I have been whacking them no such problem.

    ACOGs are set to pretty much be on target from the factory, or at least on paper. I don't know why they are set to zero, my guess is that is just reference points. Especially since they have a BDC you don't need to adjust dopes or anything like that. About the BDC, with green tip (XM855) it is dead on nasty. I broke my friends heart who was shooting Weatherby bolt guns because my rifle was on target from the first shot no matter what the range was.

    Oh its AWESOME alright... the only thing is that I bought it from Cabela's (because they are also extremely hard to get a hold of otherwise) and it came with a permanently attached compensator to make the barrel a 16" barrel.

    doubt it, ive bent them and cut the very tip end off what i've bent and it still worked, if you're that worried about it buy another one i'm sure they're like .25c to buy

    not so much worried just curious... figured since the rifle can still be taken down... and the action still works then it should be fine...

    I had a all metal AR that was under 6.3 and I didnt have to worry about the flat top rail falling off

    I like mine heavy, I hog hunt and they run in pack of 20+/- so I need the recoil to stay down, just cant wait for the fore grips!

    ha yea I sold that AR.. shot great just didnt like it.. build a better one where I bought all the good stuff for hog slaying. Now im waiting for my suppressor tax stamp to come so I can kill more hogs!
    wildwolfy you should look into heavy buffers they bring recoil and muzzle jump down alot!

    Not how you're supposed to hold the foregrip :p. Nice rifle though :)

    This is what I've got so far. JD lower receiver, with a Spike's Tactical Upper, Magpul CTR stock, Magpul MOE+ rubberized grip, Magpul trigger guard, 11" Troy TRX Quadrail with Magpul RVG foregrip and Rail covers.

    Still got some work to do, but she's gonna be gorgeous. [​IMG]
