    I have no issues. Did about 500 miles on them this weekend and no wandering, no flex, etc. They are an E rated tire, so they are heavy and stiff and I now get about 2 mpg less then normal, but now the speedo seems to be right on.

    I would have liked to go to the 255/85/16, but couldn't find a tire that had the sipping for winter in that size. This was the tire that seemed to meet all of my criteria and the closest size to what I wanted. There are not a lot of choices for tall and skinny in a year round rubber with winter capabilities. I think I have the best setup that I could have for that!

    I just changed tires recently so I ran the GPS to test the speedo. The speedo says 70 and the GPS says 68. I'm OK with that, errors on the side of not getting a ticket. Now the funny part is that when driving to work the other morning I decided to check the trip/odo out against the mile markers along the side of the freeway. I watched as the same tenth of a mile on the trip came by for 8 miles. So now the question....How can the speedo be off compared to the GPS but the odo/trip is right on the money for 8 miles? Makes me think the GPS is off, not the speedo in the truck, therefore my mpg calculations need no adjustment. The tires on the truck are 265/70/16s, 30.06" OD, which is a factory size. The ones that came off were 245/75/16, 30.05" OD which is also factory size. I'm thinking the GPS is the one with the issue, not the speedo/trip/odo.

    Bilstein 5100's up front at 2.5in, Toytec 1.5in AAL in rear. MB 72's, Goodyear Duratracs 285/75/16, Wet Okole seat covers.
    I decided to go with the 285/75/16 and glad i did. Tire fits better than I thought it would. I only had to trim plastic fenders on the front a little.

    Thread revival.
    First off, your truck looks great.
    I've been doing research and long ago decided if possible the next tire I'd run would be a tall/skinny. Using the tire calculator here on TW it looks as though the 235/85/16 would work with stock suspension. I don't have the money right now to do my suspension the way I'd like. So this may definitely be the way to go.

    I'm not sure if any of the tires listed in this size will fit on my Konig Countersteer OR's.

    Just put the order in for some General Grabber AT/2s in this size. The guy stated most people don't like the ride due to the 10ply. I've read nothing but good about this size and would like some insight here about any harsh ride.

    Here they are. I don't have my first tank MPG yet but did do a shakedown road trip up to Big Bear yesterday. No off-roading but overall I like this size better than my other set of Grabber AT/2s in 265/70/16. I don't have any rubbing like I did with the older set but I am certain that has to do with the rim/tire combination. The only drawback so far is the tracking on-road is different. The new ones seem to need more attention but it isn't anything problematic. Here are some pics:

    Obviously I'm aware of the fact that the 235s don't fit on the Konigs hence my stock wheels back on. I just drove up and down to Big Bear and didn't have a problem with cornering either way.

    Id disagree on that. I think skinny is better for mud cause it digs to get to hard bottom to grip. If there is no bottom you'll get stuck anyway, wide or skinny
