Glassworks fenders front and rear, 3" lift, how large of a tire can i fit?

Looking to get some glassworks fenders to fit some large tires on my truck. I currently have a 3" icon lift, and i'm wondering how large of a tire and what rim size backspacing i would need to get them on my truck. I's like some 35s hopefully.

yeah you can fit 35s with the cab mount chop. rims with 4.5" backspacing. it might rub a little bit when you turn completely. i cleared 35 with fiberwerx fenders, 2.5" of lift and the cab mount chop and mildly rubbed

 

Are you planning on getting the bumper caps?

 

^true, not sure if 35s will clear those caps, if you get an aftermarket bumper you'll be fine

my 35's clear without changing the rear - I did move the axle back about 3/4" since my dakars seemed to suck it forward. I am getting GW fenders also for the front.

I have to cut the cab mount and trim back the pinch welds in the fender. I have 16x8 with 4.5BS and only slight rub at full lock.

You will need at least a 2" rise fender.

 

probably an elite offroad or relentless fab bumper. The all pro bumper lines up well with them so these should too

 

are you happy with the fit/finish of the Fiberwerx?

 

eh, they needed alot of work(I still havent finished) but in the end yes i can make them look perfect like the glassworks but i just dont care that much, mine came alright but ive heard that people have had good and bad sets. i just love the huge bulge they have

The all pro bumper does not line up well with these fenders

 

hahaha if your pretty anal about little things like that then get some glassworks, if you can handle a bit of imperfection get the fiberwerx cuz they are sick!

 

i thought AP makes a bumper for stock fenders and for glass? tostidos has his glass and all pro bumper matching up i think?
edit: maybe they make it for all pro glass and not glassworks, just call them to confirm OP!

 

All pro glass lines up with the bumper. The glass works fenders looks like poop on the all pro bumper. I'll post pics when I get home to show you

the difference in the glassworks fender and the other ones i've seen for the rear is that the glassworks has a fuel door and the others do not

 

the glassworks are like a 3.5" flare vs the AP glass has a 2" flare

not the best pic but you can see the glassworks are too wide for a plate bumper

 

AP is 2.5" flare 3" rise

I know GW will "soon" be releasing 2" flare 2" rise which is perfect for non-prerunner truck that wants to stuff 35"

 

Would u still have to chop the mount with lift spindles? Maybe spindles, icon coilovers and camburg UCA's plus the fenders? And how soon is Gw looking at coming out with the 2" fenders
