As a Phillie fan I would love to see the Rangers win. However after blowing a 2 run lead to win it TWICE last night I think the Cards might take it.

I hear you. I thought the Phils were gonna do it this year. Your rotation is built like a damn video game.

It's not for everyone. I personally hate MMA, but to each his own (hence the poll option :D)

Yeah, I love to play baseball, but just watching it seems boring to me.

Completely justifiable. It can be really boring. And both Ron Washington and Tony LaRussa have annoying managerial styles.

I don't really care who wins. I usually pull for the NL teams, but since Texas has never won one, I don't mind seeing them win. But that was an unbelievable game last night! I stayed up to watch and couldn't go to sleep. It ended something like 1 am local time and I had to be up at 5. I'm paying for it today, but that was an instant classic last night. Unreal.

I'd like to see the Cards take it, they deserve it after being down 10 games in late August and getting this far. They are the anti Red Sox this fall.

Unfortunately they could'nt get a hit. If I asked who do you think won the game when Doc Halladay gave up 6 hits and 1 run I am sure most would say the Phillies won that game. Hard to win when Howard and Polanco batting.105 and Ruiz was batting .059 and.........I am still upset, I should stop.

Maybe this leaves a bitter taste in their mouth and they can come back next year and as Jake Taylor says "Win the whole f%^*ing thing"

Mike Schmidt was my favorite player.

I took a lot of heat in 93 because of the Bluejays. Joe Carter still haunts my nightmares.

I grew up in St. Louis and thus am a Cards fan for life. All my friends received a slew of obscenity-laden texts and emails every time they went down by some runs.

In all, last night was one of the best baseball games I have ever seen. It had everything. Good pitching, bad pitching, good defense, shitty defense, clutch hitting, terrible hitting, drama, strategy, comebacks and a storyline where the hometown kid rescues his favorite team against the slimmest of odds.

Tonight will probably end with one team winning 12-3 or some bullshit.

Well as much as I hated the Cards beating on my Phillies its very very hard for me not to cheer for Pujols.

You are right about one thing yesterdays game was pretty good. One of the most exciting I have seen in awhile.

I hope you're wrong about tonights game about being a blowout lol. Hopefully it will be a good game.

As a Reds fan, I hate the Cardinals. Plus, I've liked Josh Hamilton ever since he got back into baseball as a Red. GO RANGERS !!!
