you lived on mcbh? my place is in kailua right by olomana golf course. i like living on that side, might rain a little in the morning but i used to leave my house at 615 to get to school and damn did it look nice with dew on the grass looking over enchanted lake.

i'll take that over this bi-polar corvallis weather.

lol. all i can think about when im driving through temple valley, is that i still have another hour to go to get to sunset beach lol.

tbh, from kailua to north shore. temple valley is the worst part. it takes me like 20 mins to get through that area

Not happy about that. Washed and waxed the truck today and then it starts raining.

Got my Weathertech's in today. These things are sick. Perfect fit. Looks much better then my Husky's did in the tahoe. Looks factory

As long as you are putting things on the wish list, wish for the best, right?

Vanbeest, among a few others, proof test all their equipment, meaning that each shackle has been tested to make sure it performs at LEAST at its WLL. The no-namer shackles (like the ones I have ) may have 1 in every 5,000 tested.

I'm probably going to switch out slowly. I like the Vanbeest because they are easily noticeable by their green pins.

Why not just paint your current pins if you want them more noticeable?

Heh you are missing the point.
    - I prefer vanbeest over other reputable brands like Crosby because the green pin is trademarked by vanbeest and no one else can sell pins with that color. When you buy other pins, it is harder to tell who made it

-the point of buying a quality shackle is that you have a 100% guarantee it will do what it is designed to do. Using The Chinese generic pins means that for each pin sold, you have 49,999 chances to get the bad one of the bunch. It's not about the color.

Granted, it's not as bad as I make it sound, but that's what the differences are basically about
