Can I use Locktite on a CB antenna?

    Im planning on getting a shorter CB antenna, and I saw that firestik had 2' antennas that came in some pretty snazzy colors. (Green, blue, PINK, yellow)
    but my only concern was dumb people maby trying to take it if I left it on. I know i can tighten it down quite a bit with a wrench, but i still want to be sure it doesnt go anywhere.

    Locktite okay?

    None but soon......
    I have read loctite may act as an isulator and degrade the connection between the metal. Not for sure on this but worth looking into
