45 minutes wow! I thought i was delicious. I also caught several sockeye salmon and I personally like the taste of them better. The filets on the king were so damn big.

I would imagine that the filets were huge. Swordfish are usually cut into steaks so that breaks up a bit from the filet aspects. That swordfish was beyond awesome eating. Unfortunately we didnt find the spot to send the fish out until the day before we left otherwise I would have sent out close to 30 lb of mahi mahi, swordfish, and triple tail..... all great eating fish

Bummer that you missed out on the Mahi Mahi. That is some good eating. I have never had swordfish but heard it is awesome

Oh we must have consumed about 15 lb of all the fish in the week we were there.... it was ridiculous. Everytime we went to a restaurant we would bring fish and while we were there I would feed the entire kitchen staff with what I brought. I went fishing twice ended up catching like 25 dolphin the first trip and the swordfish and the second trip was like 15 or 20 dolphin plus some triple tail..... I have some pics posted in the fishing thread.

Finally got in the water today for the first time in about 6 or 7 weeks. In 2 hours me and my buddy combined for about 30 fish. Didn't keep count. Kept 8 each (the limit) so he could have a cookout. I'll See if I can get a video uploaded in a little bit.

Here's a video. I don't catch one until about 1:25 mark. I always forget about where the camera is on these glasses, and I don't get a real good shot of the fish. But, you all saw the stringer...that's good enough :D

That sucks...but I'd be ok with some snow. It was just nice to finally get back in the water. I don't know if they've been hittin like this for the past few weeks or if we just got there at the right time this afternoon. Whatever it was, it worked.
