oh, yeah that won't end well. I may just save up and go all out with long travel legs as well, give him that extra cushion for those hard landings.

I only had enough money to put long travel on the rear of Gabbys legs.....Seems that when she sits......her rear legs flop to the sides now.....Maybe some fenders would help......

Sounds like you're getting too much camber at full compression, Alignment should fix her up.

This is A-Trac we're talking about here, no silly socks are going to hold up the forces this amazing traction device is capable of putting out.

Actually...We havent talked abgout Dog Tires, and with the new found traction Atrac provides, it might be a good idea to try some different ones out.

I "might" have to get a set of those for the dogs! Summer heat burns their little feet

great, now there's going to be millions of threads about which dog tire is best, and people insisting they need mud terrains for their indoor dog:rolleyes:

No. With Atrac, its just as good as a locked Dog, but with better street manors.

A-TRAC is like a Ronco rotisserie, you set it and forget it. It does great cooking small things like a chicken, but it can't tackle big things like a whole pig.

Toyota named, it's short for 'Active Traction Control'. Available on the 4WD Off Road Tacoma from 2009+. Also A-TRAC is on other Toyota and Lexus off highway vehicles.

A-TRAC is like automatic lockers on the front and rear for the toughest traction needs. It stops tire spin by matching the non-traction tire rotation to the traction tire rotation, with brakes... which is what a locker does with gears.

Those without A-TRAC (like Sport or SR-5 Tacomas) may do the 4-Low Trac Mod (yellow wire mod/ 'trac hack') that fools the truck into thinking it is in high range (which has TRAC limited slip). Otherwise, in low range the differentials are open... no limited slip.

Some samples... and the last one in this clip addresses the question asked in this thread... A-TRAC is better than a rear locker:
