I just wanted to say that the people who have been putting builds in here should put them in the 'builds' section of TW not the 1st gen part. I'm not calling anybody stupid or anything that's just where they should go IMHO.

Sorry...now back to the regularly scheduled programme!

Shouldn't this rant be in the 2nd gen forum?

Ranting probably not going to help OP...You've only got a chance that the "offenders" are going to read it and less chance that they'll actually listen.
If you find posts that are out of place or have other issues use the [IMG] button and make a report...The mods can move or close the thread as appropriate. We don't see everything right away, but we do our best to fix problems in a timely fashion.

There is also an offroad forum, a 4 cylinder forum, a stereo forum etc etc. Don't just pick on the build threads.

Personally I think there are too many sub-forums.

I'm not saying I could do it any better by any stretch. Please don't take what I said the wrong way. It is however somewhat confusing you know, like what exactly is supposed to go in the 1st gen tacoma section if there are all the other sub-forums?

I don't think you understand what I was saying.

It would be cool if you clicked on 1st gen then at the top it listed the sub-forums like off-road, interior, technical, etc etc. I understand though that that might polarize the 1st and 2nd gen guys a little too much. Hopefully i'm making sense.

If it is any consolation, I used to have a first gen, actually it was a first gen B.C. (Toyota Pick Up).
