$500 for ACOGs and you can go into business for yourself selling them for $700. You would have people beating on your door to get one at that price too. I got a great deal for one at $850. I would be your first customer like yesterday.

The way I look at military equipment like rifles and scopes is just like I look at vehicles. If you are poor you can't afford to buy the cheap shit. You will be buying the same thing ten times over. If you want a bomb proof optic, get an ACOG, Aimpoint, or EOtech. Some people will try their damndest to tell you that you have no need for such things. Screw em. A friend of mine heard the same story and bought a $300 EOTech knock off because "he had no need for the real thing." Well 200 rds later it will not hold zero and flashes off for a split second every time he fires the rifle. Now he is buying the real thing and instead of $550 dollar purchase, it has become a $850 purchase. Sure their are things you can get buy with, like an H1 instead of a T1, or a Trijicon accupoint instead of a Night Force/Schmidt and Bender. Can you tell the difference between them? Hell yeah you can, but does it make a difference? In those cases, not really. You damn near need a PHD to fully utilize a S&B to its full potential, and unless you plan on buying night vision scopes (which usually have finite lives I might add) the T1 doesn't offer that much more over the H1 in capabilities (it can go deeper under water than the H1). When it comes to military equipment that you may end up defending yourself with never skimp out. How much is your life worth to you?

Yeah. His shop is selling them for just over $1k. When my brother told me $500, I didn't believe him at first. Idk how he can do it, but I'm not complaining. I'm hoping it is ultimately as real as it sounds.

I love my EO tech, works great for hog hunting, I want a Acog eventually, and only reason I use these instead of a good old fashion scope is because sometimes I have to jump off a truck, and quickly acquire the target, and a little pig hauling a$$ across the road is a fast mover for sure! And with the Acog I can use it for close fast movers, or use it to shoot distance during deer season or if I have a good distance to my next target without re zeroing my MP15 every season/ trip

PS, Anyone interested in trading some 30 rds magazine for a California legal one? I think its like 10 or 15 right? I have to travel there often, would rather not have a rifle confiscated for some bs like too many rounds...

The big wingnut is for mounting, it just slides on the rail and you screw her down, the smaller wingnut is cant tension. It only has one extended position, but infinite length adjustment between 8-10.5 inches. You EASILY clear 30rd magazines in prone with it extended.

Probably a vendor deal. Manufacturers of just about everything usually offer their dealers one unit per year at cost for personal use. No way is he getting ACOGs for resale at any volume for $500.

Not mass, but it's his personal price through his shop, any Trijicon for half MSRP, which is also extended to anybody within his immediate family (me).

It's an incentive the owners of his shop give their employees I guess

Did you bring enough (half MSRP) for the rest of the class?

For the rest of you, if you're interested in a discount, look into getting your C&R license. I think it's $30 for 3 years, then go get your discount from Brownells.

I always buy a couple extra detents for any build. I invariably launch one across the room:

And here's your $2 spring if you need it:
