My Prerunner is under my wife name, I'm just secondary. Now, we are getting divorce. (YESSS!!!) Should I keep my Truck or trade it in or give it to her and get a new one? I'm thinking if I payed it off she might take it from me.

I got my truck Certified Used and I've been paying for 2yrs already.

    Thanks guys

Let it go, grab a new(er) one.
Or try and get it into your name but its probably easier to just start fresh IMO

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Too many variables to say. Who is getting what else? Don't just let her have everything, but if giving her the truck makes the rest of the transaction go smoother then so be it.

If both names are on the title you probably don't need her.

I think you do need her to sign it. Because when I totaled my car and I had to sign the insurance company my mom (was co-signer) had to sign it. I couldn't just do it myself. So I'm guessing yeah.

Ditto. My first car was "and/or". I sold it myself without my wife having to do anything. They stressed going with "and/or" over "and" for that exact reason when we bought that first vehicle.

You will need her to release the vehicle, since its in both your names.

If there is a or between your names you can trade without her or she can without you.If it is a and it will take both of you to sign.No matter how it goes the man always comes out the loser.I always have or on mine and my wifes in case something happens to one of us.

It depends on the state as far as release of interest goes, in California if two people are on the title then both need to sign the title to release interest, Washington State is the same way.
