So dumb question... Anyone ever bought tires from Walmart? A buddy of mine called me and told me about a deal he got. 4 new tires with the unconditional warranty for $525! the tires were made by General, which is a Continental company. I think that he said they were the General Grabber STX tires.

The sales nerd told him they were Walmart's exclusive model but it was the same as the General HTX tires. Anyone know anything about these tires? Figure it was worth a look since they are a 60K tire! My buddy said his truck is quieter on the road now. Tread design isn't as aggressive as his BFGs but more aggressive than the Yoko Geo's he has on his other taco.

    Thoughts?

Huh... I just looked up those General Grabber HTX tires on tirerack.com and they got some really good ratings.. Down side is that they are all seaon instead of AT tires...

damn I need to figure something out soon, I have to get some new tires this week before I leave town..

3'' lift with 33'' tires and a high lift jack thats all rite now
So I drove by the Toyota dealer today just to see what they had. I found a 01 4door 4x4 3.4 sr5 trd I really want a 4 door but this one just isn't going to cut it unless i get a reallly good trade in on my 02. I would want them to swap wheels and tires don't think they will have a issue with that because my tires have way less life on them Plus maybe swap out the grills. Going to go by after work and see what i can do.
