I just picked this up yesterday! 2012 TRD Offroad double Cab. I traded in my 2002 Jeep Wrangler.

    Old Ride....it will be missed

New Ride...the only vehicle I EVER considered trading my Wrangler for

Looking nice! I will never understand why they keep painting the rear bumpers chrome though. Horrible IMO. I wanna paint mine to match once I find a decent place

Ya, i assume its the same here, but on the jeep forums we always say "chrome won't get ya home!" That's normally one of the first things to go.

They WILL FIT! I took the seat covers off my 09 and put em in the 12. Fit like a glove! Now I need to get some seat covers for the rear seats.

Very nice. I have to admit, these new trucks look way better lifted with bigger tires. I think I can get over the new front end.......I think:notsure: Still gonna see what kind of a deal I might get on a 2011 left on the lot.

I live in Greenville NC, but I'm originally from the Asheville area. I'm in a local 4x4 club and we make Uwharrie trips a couple times a year. I don't think I'll wheel the Tacoma though... I'm planning on buying a cheap Cherokee and turning it into more of a dedicated trail rig. From what I've read the Tacoma should be able to tow it (Cherokee's curb weight is around 3500lbs).

What about you, where in NC do you live?

Have any of you '12 owners noticed how much higher the seats sit inside the cab? I feel like I'm looking at the sun visor. I've adjusted the seat as much as possible.........I wish now that they would put an up/down adjustment in there. I'm tall, but my previous sport and previous off-road didn't feel that high.

BTW.........I have the DC short bed Sport Upgrade and it has the 4 leaf pack..........not sure if people are still trying to figure out which models have the 4 vs. the 3. It rides awesome!!

Nice truck! I actually picked up the exact same truck this weekend. Well at least I think exactly the same, I didn't get Entune or navigation just the regular radio.
