Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

Last night's episode was probably the best of the season! Lots of zombie action and some great character revelations. This episode just brought TWD onto the dramatic level of a Lost or 24 type of show. If the rest of the season is on par or exceeds this episode, it's winning an Emmy.

 

so pissed. that cops a total dick. First slept with partners wife, then shot otis. wtf.

 

One could argue that he sacrificed Otis to save Carl, as Otis caused the situation.

As far as sleeping with his partners' wife, he did think he was dead, and she is kinda hot (total bitch though).

 

True in regards to Otis, even though that was probably not his main intention.

And as far as thinking he was dead, incorrect. He knew he left him alive. Its one reason he barricaded the door to his room before he fled the hospital. And then he goes and tells the wife that he was dead when he left.

Shane is a badass, but not someone you want watching your wife and kid.

 

Agreed! Good episode. Think we're going to start seeing the real Shane going forward. The shaving of the head is symbolic of his path to the dark-side (sorry for the Star Wars ref).

 

BTW - Daryl is by far my favorite character on the show right now. Bad ass.

 

Good episode last night. I just wish they would hurry up and find that girl or be done with it. Get a move on already. Didn't expect what Shane did to Otis, but it wasn't surprising either. I was surprised Otis lasted as long as he did. I thought he was going to be a hot meal in the gym.

He did say that he didn't hear a heartbeat before leaving him behind. Perhaps just bullshit though.

 

Ether they both die, and the boy. Or it is dies and shane and Carl live. I woulda shot him too tho, it comes down to u and me and a horde of zombies better believe ur ass is gettin shot in the leg.

 

Killing Otis to save Carl doesn't make it right.

As for leaving Rick behind. The door barricade was just to buy time IMO, in the event a Doc or Nurse or someone that could do something came along. How was Shane supposed to know he would wake up a litle while later. He probably figured he was saving Rick from getting eaten and let him just die on his own.

As for telling your buddy's wife that he was already dead. I'd have done the same thing. Again what were the chances Rick would wake up and find everyone? If you were to tell my wife that I was alive just laying in a bed vulnerable during a zombie take over, she'd want to go back for me, which I wouldn't want and I would hope my friends would know that.

BUT, Shane is still a dick for bangin her and killing Otis. Hot Bitch wanting the zombie killin D or not, dick move.

 

Well Otis and Shane fooked that whole thing up from the get go, by both going into the medical supply trailor. Better idea? Otis goes in after Shane parks the car on the far side of the lot and starts honking. Draw all the dead to him while Otis gets the supplies. When Otis comes out, do a u-turn and go back to get Otis. Zombie Diversion 101.

 

I'd atleast been decent enough to shoot him in the head. They'd still stop to eat him.

 

Gaaahhh, Shane should be dead anyway. Not liking how the story has progressed so far. They are straying too far from the comics. Otis dies but not this soon.

 

If my best friend is standing over me while I lay in coma and the world outside has turned into a ZOMAPOC, he better throw my ass over his shoulder and get me outta there. Deadweight or not, I don't think I could leave my best friend lying in a hospital bed like the last piece of steak at the buffet.

I actually visited one of the recording sites in Atlanta when they were filming.. Cool show

 

Can we please stfu about "what happens"? Some of us are enjoying this shit for the first time and don't want to know about what happens in the fucking comic book. thx.

 

I think im done watching it. too slow, too much drama, too much BS.

Dexter comes on at the same time so Im gonna start watching it instead of waiting for the late episode to come on.

 

Can't wait for next weeks episode when the Hooters bus arrives at the farm. And wait until the Predators start showing up in Season 3 attracted to the worldwide tension. Going to be sick!
