True it was the best episode of the season so far, but tired of them looking for the girl, looks like that will go on for atleast half the season, I get it you both love your kid and will do anything, but I would have rather more attention been on Shane at the gym instead of showing another blood transfusion and the Doc telling them to make a decision.

also didn't like the final scene of Shane flexing in the mirror, now we all know you still have time to work on your 6 pak during the zombie apocalypse.

They are purposely straying from the comics so that people aren't spoiled by them.

Perhaps. Very often things do not translate well from page to screen.

This is my first season watching so excuse my stupid question, but where in the hell are all the automatic weapons, flame throwers, etc.??? I mean, I think I would head for the nearest military base and hunt down a chain gun or something and then find a taco and mount that bitch to the hood. Just sayin, wheres the automatic weapons?

They passed them up at every opportunity possible. Although I think they are on their way to Ft. Benning GA

That's all well and good, but I'm sure it's easier said then done. Plus, with automatic weapons, you would need lots of ammo to carry around with you. Not to mention they are very loud and would attract more zombies.

I wouldn't think that a flamethrower would be very effective. Not only would you have a zombie attacking you, but a flaming zombie.

But would you all of shot him in the leg? Thats just cold. its one thing survival, another to work together.

As for Daryl, yes, he picks such random skits to do, also great in Boondock saints.

Very true. Flamethrowers = Fire Zombies = Bad idea

Gotta disconnect the head or scramble the brains. Silent weapon. hell, .22's will even work. Bullet enters the skull but doesn't have enough to exit, so the bullet bounces around making mush out of the brains. Works like that in zombies and humans.

I've seen that happen to a suicide victim. one small hole under the chin and just a trickle of blood out the nostril.

shooting him in the leg actually makes a lot of sense. that was while all the zombies are chomping on him he screams and wiggles and will attract even more zombies.

That whole Odis and Shane scene was simply twisted, but at the same time it made sense. My mouth was just agape when that scene played. I totally expected something like that when Shane arrived at the house but it still surprised me for some reason. I did NOT expect him to just leave him there, but with him screaming and all, it definitely would call more attention that way and away from Shane. This show gets better and better.

I didn't understand why he needed to shoot Otis. They were out limping (not really outrunning) the zombies and had enough of a lead to wrestle around for a good minute or two so why not keep pressing on? I think Shane just harbored some hatred for him or something. It didn't make sense.

In the middle of a high school parking lot, you gotta look out for #1:). That slob was a bad shooter anyways who did not see the big picture when shooting. Even if laying down, you would notice a dear that had two extra human legs. So, that dude was a liability when having a firearm and good zombie bait if you are trying to save your best friends son. But, I agree with the rest of you that the shows writing is getting better than just a zombie video game. I'll give it a couple of more episodes till I decide.

Yep, exactly. This is what I thought there were going to do in the first place, or at least turn the police car's sirens on to distract the zombies.

But if they did what you descibed, we wouldn't have had such a great episode. People got to die with this type of show.
