How do you remove panel around stereo?

On an 2006 how do you remove the panel that surrounds the stereo? The piece that that has the heater vents. It feels like it has clips and should pop out but I was afraid to pull too hard on it. Anyone have any tips to remove this piece? thanks.

Remove the lower panel with the AC controls on it, it snaps loose. Remove the 10mm bolts, then the whole radio piece pulls straight out ( snaps in at the top ).
