You see what I did there :D

It's happened to me too OP... I spent a few days shitting myself and slowly forgot about it until she added me on facebook about a month later... (this was just a random thing on spring break. I suppose I can admit we were drunk because the drinking age there is 18). Anyway I was scared all over again but she never said anything about it... so I figured no news is good news. Hopefully things end up the same for you

According to the research, it's on par with condoms for effectiveness:

    http://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/journals/reprints/Contraception79-407-410.pdf

How many people consider condoms risky?

And that's the point. It's possible for a woman to have an unwanted pregnancy using ANY form of birth control...the only variation is how much risk.

Pulling out has about a 4% failure rate, and get this - most of the failures come from incomplete pulling out, or late withdrawal. So in one sense, people have a point when they admit they can't trust themselves to yank it.

Condoms have about a 2% failure rate. The pill is a little less than 1%. Hell, even vasectomies have a miniscule percentage failure rate.

The bottom line is no bitching if you're banging someone and they end up carrying your kid. You made the bed, lay in it.

But risk with coitus interruptus is minimal.
