mainly a wider minimally taller tire

wouldn't reccomend it, will definately stick out past the fender well possibly rub on upper part of spindle. If I hit a bump kinda hard while rolling I can hear the raised letters of the tire touch the spindle from the tire flex

effed up??? looks guys you cant expect to put on about 80lbs of steel and bigger wheels and tires and think you will still get the same gas mileage. I lift about 3 vehicles a week here at work and everyone knows the risks. Its only money just spend it!. You can't take it with you when you die so enjoy it. I tow alot of times with my truck I get anywhere from 15.5 or 17.5 MPG. What do you expect rolling on 80 lb wheels and tires each.

axle wrap there lil buddy!.. Have you done the cheap add a leaf and turned it upside down and towards the front? I heard that fixes it. I may do it also but I have hellwig 990's on my truck to help with all the added weight that i tend to tow all the time

No i get it, trust me, i drive my truck 45 min in one way everyday. depending on if im running late or not makes my gas mileage what it is...

i spend about 80 dollars a week on gas right now with a 3" lift, just trying to see what it would be like with more lift...

my guess would be the same maybe a lil worse.. A lift is a lift. 3" lift with spacers compared to actual full blown lift im sure something will differ

I haven't but I just said screw it and have been dealing with it... when I get back from deployment I plan on getting some custom springs...not to mention a bunch of other things...

regear and locker, leaf springs, tow woods one piece (maybe just a beefed carrier bearing drop), sliders, retrofit lights, and a new tonneau cover to name a few things

I'm back to the drawing board on tire size. I just can't seem to make up my damn mind! So many choices. So this is what I am thinking. Let me know if you guys think it will work...
    RCD Lift
All Pro Expedition leaf springs (gives 4" of lift without load)
    285/70R18 (BFG KM2)
    18" XD monsters (black)

Think the 285/70R18 would be to big? It's 33.7.

That's almost what I want to do. But looking for 305/70/17 and some trimming.
I'm just not sure about the the expo leaf... myself. I had the 1.5 Allpro leaf pack and they are very soft. I hesitate between the expo and standard 3". I plan for a front plate bumper with winch and I think it will look level with standard. But maybe the standard will sag too...

Now I'm more confused on what tire size! I'm looking at 17" wheels that I like and 18" wheels that I like. You have made my decision harder my friend. I know they are the same overall diameter but do you think they would fit?

Thanks Sarge! +1 rep for you, for all the help!

-I'm having the hardest time making up my mind so let me say in advance thanks to everyone who is helping me & putting up with me with this decision. I've got it narrowed down I believe but my last option before I make a final decision is 305/65R18. Anyone know if that will fit? It's 33.7 OD
