Anyone have experience with the Toyota tri-folding hard tonneau cover? I'm planning to get it, because I am getting a really good deal. Just don't want to lose too much of my bed... Wanted to see how easy it is to remove and put back on and stuff.

    Thanks!

I have a Fold a Cover G4 and I love it. Never heard of a Toyota brand cover.

If you go on the toyota site and build a 2011 tacoma, then look at the accessories it lists a tonneau cover. I'm not sure it's necessarily "toyota" brand, but you get it at the stealership and toyota installs it and it has a 3 year toyota warranty

The ones on display at the dealerships I've seen are Extangs. I have the soft Trifecta and it's excellent quality. I'm sure the hard one is too.

Can you still use the rail system for the cleats?

I have the Extang SolidFold and it sits high enough so you can use the cleats (except where the clips go). Just be sure you put some where you want for the portion of the cover that doesn't fold before you clamp it down. I bought some extra ones off eBay to suppliment the ones that came with the truck.

If you are talking about the Extang Trifecta, yes no problem using the rail system.
