Ah crap I hate that game-it came out when I was in college and I played it untill I learned the pattern. I could run touchdowns everytime. Then when I went to sleep that night, the stupid red flashing light pattern kept running across my eyes. I blame it for a bad semester (yeah, sure):p

You kids and your high-tech toys. I had this game as a kid. It had a passer that threw a little felt football (you had to point it). There was also a kicker:

you catch someone quoting the size of the "newer" non-floppy floppy disk... and know that the older floppy disk in the same picture does not have the reinforced ring on the center so it is only a 360K DSDD, not the 1.2MB DSHD disk.

(at least I could still remember it was on page 5 after I read through all 18 pages!!!)

When you had a computer running Windows 3.1 and MS-DOS that required you to type in a boot command.

    Wait for MS-DOS to start...
    In the DOS prompt: "C:\WIN"

Okay, I'm not that old (18), but I like tinkering with old technology since I wasn't around/mature enough to know what they were :p.

When you get older and your body only needs a set amount of sleep hours, i went to bed early last nite at 10pm, woke up two hours earlier than i needed to, which is why i'm on TW screwin around.

In vo-tech we made simple computers before DOS even came out, that's DOS before Windows 1 even. the first version of Windows was merely DOS with several rough, graphical boxes. First PC I used had an 8086 processor at, I think, 4.77MHz - that's .00477Ghz for today's speed comparison. Green screen and dual floppies, oh with a dot-matrix printer!
