Anyone running this? Everyone and their mother run the matte black, but I am partial to chrome. Another reason that I am leaning towards chrome is due to the fact I haven't seen ONE person with chrome monsters. The look with the black is awesome, would the chrome look bad? I am running a black sand pearl sport DC 4x4. I was thinking about running the 18's on a 3" lift with 275/65/18 terra grapplers (275 to minimize rubbing and cutting, and 65 because I like the sidewall profile). This will be a glorified mall crawler, we are speaking on looks and looks alone. I have searched this forum high and low looking for pics and info on it. One thread was considering it, but ended up going matte black. Flame me if you like for chrome I don't care how much you like the murdered out like because everyone has it. Flame me if you like for not searching, but if you do, prove to me a thread exists.

Thanks for your help in advance. I have been on the forums since the beginning of this year, so please don't base my forum experience on the amount of replies and posts I have. I have been apart of many forums, including multiple BMW M3 forums.

I see the chrome monsters all the time down here. Texans love their chrome.

Here are some on a tundra.

This is the wheel pictured with 285/65/18 with nitto tera grapplers I am also considering a wider tire as well, so 285 is still on my mind (just dont want to trim line/chop cab mount/remove flaps)

KPT, thanks for your input. I was able to find a few on Tundras and other vehicle makes, but no Tacoma... Not even one. Why is this?

I've got kmc XD chrome badlands on my mall crawler. I love the way they look. Not monsters but you don't see many chrome XD wheels on tacos

Im thrown for a loop. With a wheel so popular, you would normally see both finish combinations. Take the Moto Metal 951's for example. You see a ton of chrome, but you also see a ton of the black.

*My other consideration is the chrome 951's, but there are a few that have them. I want to be unique.

Badlands are one of my favorite chrome rims. I also like the chrome atx ledges. Raswank has them on his truck.

Damn, why are you doing this to me! HAHA Right when I think I have it figured out, you throw that sexy wheel in my face... Hmmm, might have a major dilemma ahead of me. Still want to see proof of chrome monsters on the tacoma however lol

What are your specs on the wheel, tire, and lift?
