Qualified for the national strongman competition two years ago....if I would have placed there I would have qualified for the worlds on ESPN. Never would have made it that far though....

Used to climb but haven't been able to give it the necessary dedication recently. Climbed Devils Tower, but it was only the Durrance Route.

Hiked Half Dome this past August. Really surprised by how much trouble I had breathing at that altitude, but I guess that's what I get living 100 feet above sea level.

How long did it take you to climb El Cap?

Back when I was an ocean lifeguard we'd jump into the rips to get out to people faster. They're useful when you actually WANT to get away from the beach...and when you know how to get out of them. :)

Did that all the time when I was a lifeguard. Sometimes it was funny to watch people freak out when they were in 3 feet of water.

Not by much it was a little bit.. gamier? I can't really describe it, it had a way more powerful beef flavor to it.

    .
Hell, i was probably less than 5 feet tall when i got sucked in. I was deeper than three feet though, i wasn't far from where the bay current shoots thru the Golden Gate Bridge and that current moves at six knots.
