Cabin Air Filter

Got 14K on my truck so I took a look at the cabin air filter. I am going to go ahead and replace it. But question is.....the dealership the only place to get the new one?

Amazon is the best place, unless you are buying 5 or more, then logical source.

 

Autozone sells them, If not in stock it can be ordered and will arrive no later then 3 days (including saturday)

 

Wow......I am looking to get the engine air filter too and the service manager at the dealership told me to check them first as both will ran up around $40.00 bucks. At least he told me to check them first.

Do yourself a favor and buy a pro dry drop in... you can prob find one in the bst.

 

I wash and reuse mine.

and I also just changed the cabin air filter on our Highlander. Dirty as hell. To think we were breathing this in. .

 

No your not, your filter is. Better not step out of the truck. Give me a break, how did we ever get this far without a filter in our vehicles?

 

Being someone with allergies, I am very happy these were invented. It's one thing to be outside, its another to have bad air blowing in your face.

 

Don't ever go outside, ride a bike or motorcycle, or go hiking/walking. Please don't tell us you wear a mask while cutting grass.

 

When a $4.00 part can help keep my allergies at bay when traveling in a vehicle, I think it is a great invention. Not too sure why you are so against them? You don't like them, stay out of the threads when people are talking about them. You are being the definition of a troll right now...

 

Not trolling, just dont understand the need for a filter in the cabin of a truck. I do wash and clean mine ever so often, so the fan motor is not in put in a bind. Did you buy your Taco because it had a cabin filter, did your last vehicle have one? You do realize you have nose hair, right?

How do you actually get to the cabin filter?

 

Remove the glove box. And there's a little access door for the filter.

 

Those with allergies may want to know there is carbon version of our filter. Its crazy expensive but air quality it is much better afterwards. I think only can be bought from dealer. and its like $50 for filter.
