I had some problems at first. Apparently my Asus G73jh has a GSOD issue.
Found the problem, flashed the vid bios, ran some benchmarks, FIXED!!

No online time just yet. I want to play the begining of the campaign to see how this mobile radeon 5870 does and to sort out any future glitches.
So far, so good. Medium to full.

On a side note, my old css clan has a server up. It's {LoS} stomping grounds out of chi town I believe.
Still have controls to set up and go get a mic but I should get my first online gametime in the evening. If anyone is down, hit me up.

 

Just got a GeForce 260 GTS offa some dude on here for cheap, gonna see if I can run BF3 on it. I got a fast enough computer I think it might make up for it. Should be here in a few days. Can the demo still be run for testing purposes?

 

It should however I never even tried it myself. I just took a chanch and bought the game.
this radeon 5870 is eatn it up with hi settings. No problem and its the mobility card. Might be something to judge it against.

I found the beta played like crap on my 260... so I picked up a 560ti - sweet!

it was Blackdog for gaming on FSP. And Jakboling for MMOs. then i joined GMC clan then it died. Then when i got into forums, Blackdog was unavailable so hence Blackdawg was born

 

What setting are you running with your 560ti and what FPS do you get? What are the rest of your system specs?

I ordered a GTX560ti the other day. It's being shipped now.

 

Finished single player. Damn that was short.
Trouble learning the maps for mp. Guess i'll work on that this weekend.

 

I need to upgrade my video card and power supply and I may get into the fray.

 

In the game I left it set to auto on the graphics. System is a Core i7 950 @ 3.07Ghz, 6GB DDR3 RAM triple channel, Win7 x64 on an SSD.

FPS... anywhere between 40 and 75 depending on whats going on.

 

I got my 560ti and I was around 45 but it would drop to 10 or less from time to time.

I upgraded to a SSD (sata III) and now it runs at 45 or higher all the time and new maps load in about 10 seconds or less. Oh and all my settings are on high.

Finally I can play well.

Mine is onebxr. Have had it since release date just havent had the time to play it. I think I got about 3 hrs on it.

Played for a while tonight...took a while to get in my groove but I ended up getting several levels out of the way.
