dang it, i wanna see it....stupid work blocks everything

 

a guy beats his 16yr old daughter. it starts because he told her to stop playing a game on the computer and she doesn't do what he says, so, he decided to whip her with a belt. they walk in the bedroom and he tells her to lay on her stomach on the bed so he can whip her butt. she just stands there so he grabs her and throws her on the bed and continues to tell her to turn over and she doesn't so he started hitting her legs with the belt. she tries to block it with her arms and he gets more and more mad. he gets pretty violent and cusses alot but if she would've just done what he said it wouldn't have escalated. he never hits her with anything other than the belt and never hits anything other than her leg unless she puts her arm in the way.

What's ridiculous is that you seem to find what he did acceptable. Doesn't matter what a kid does it doesn't give you the right to lose your temper and take it out on them. A spanking, couple whacks on the ass with a belt, whatever is fine if that's how you want to discipline your child. This guy straight up beat her (you even said so yourself) and that is never ok. Obviously this wasn't a one time thing either since she set up the camera knowing it would happen again. I really hope you are just trolling.

thats a bit excessive though, he shouldnt let himself escalate like that though, and yes she should listen...but a belt at 16? my parents stopped using a belt around 8 or 9, of course i learned my lesson by then. but by the way you describe that is starting to cross the line of corporal punishment and abuse. my hind end got wore out a few times when i was a kid, and it did me damn good too, i believe in it, but you should never let yourself cross that line when it comes down to it, he should have calmed down first them continued with it. and she is wrong for putting up the camera, that there says she was instagating it. so they are both in the wrong, but she probably never did it again.

worst descision of my life was running away from momma when she had a belt i ran laps through the house and got to the door (was dead bolted and locked) and couldnt get it unlocked quick enough...my hinnie hurt after that one.

that sounds about right too, it sounds like he looses his temper a bit and prob should let the mother deal out the punishment, if i did that as a kid i would of had to set the camera up several times to catch it, but it never would have shown a beating only a child getting an a** whooping for doing something i was told not to.

but then again the 16 yr sounds like she doesnt listen either and the father is tired of it. both are still wrong though

 

oh no. it's not ok. i completely agree, he should've walked away. i can remember my parents sending me to my room and i had sit there and wait for them to calm down so they didn't beat me like that. lol

i also agree that it doesn't seem like a one time thing but it also seems like a setup. neither person is right in this situation but i grown man should never beat a kid like that. he crossed the line.

he sounds like he lost his temper pretty quick over something that shouldnt have caused that much anger, but you have to think when you lose your temper over something small like that means your at the end of your rope and its happened several times before.

the child sounds like she has issues with listening and the father sounds like he might have an anger problem...not a good combo.

 

History or not, its never an excuse to beat a child. IMO

 

x3! i got my ass whooped when i was bad. but never got got spanked or whacked with the belt more than 5 times. but my mom and dad stopped the belt around 7 maybe 8. and i just got grounded from everything. and i was the kinda kid who had to hang out in the neighborhood EVERY day after school. so getting grounded was like jail at that age to me. and threatening to whack her in the face with the belt? i don’t see how anyone could see that being ok.

now what gets me is. now a days only think that parents do is take phones and computers away. and kids these days think thats bad. they don’t realize is thats a peace of cake.
