Wow dude, I had a wheel almost come off my truck while my wife was driving by herself with my son. My truck sheared off 5 of the 6 wheel studs. I fixed it later that day with help from a buddy, but she was pretty emotional. But all feeksd now.

OP glad you got out! TW rocks!! If it was another website, you'd be stuck indefinately!!

One case was just bad luck the spacer came off and was still attached to the wheel. The other was a case of neglect, installed after market wheels and took off on a 200 mile trip with out tightening after 20 miles

says a lot for a highlift. ive done this in my truck a few times. highlift under the rear to get the frame off the ground and stack stuff under the wheels or just drive forward if the front tires are touching the ground.

Can't blame him there, had to stay warm all alone in the middle of nowhere. Would that happen to have an effect why his wheel fell off

i got stuck in the work tacoma in the strip mines. i was going out to survey and of course being in an awesome 4x4 tacoma i thought i could go through anything. i got half way into a spoil pile crawling over rocks as large as my tires. then i went over one particular rock that had a rut on the other side. fell into it and my frame sat right on top of the rock. tried everything to get out, put other rocks under the tire, turned on the rear diff lock, you name it. the whole time all the rock truck drivers in the big 875 komatsu's were making fun of me.
finally got my boss to pull me out with his pickup.

now i get jokes evey now and then from the miners, but at least i get to have fun and off road everyday instead of hauling all day long

haha, it was actually a bottle I picked up at my buddies house, we drank from it the other night. I did have a few sips to keep me warm though (trust me, I won't drive drunk) and does drinking and driving loosen your lugnuts?
