    Installed the TRD CAI today, wow, what a difference. Appearance under the hood and performance! I like the nice growl it gives off when you really stomp on the gas. I think I must have gone thru about 1/2" tank of gas and 1/4" of tire tread with my "testing" after the installation! I also added a little more bling with the TRD oil cap and coolant cap.

    Very easy to install. The hardest part was keeping my 3 yr old occupied as well when we were in the garage. He likes to "help" Daddy all the time. He wrenched on his Power Wheels truck while I did the CAI install. Total install time was probably less than 30 minutes.

    I was very lucky and got the intake slightly used for $200. I think it is worth every penny of the new cost, which is typically $350 give or take.

    That will probably be next, along with possibly painting the fuse box red.

    I forgot that all hell would break loose when I reattached the neg to the battery. Needless to say my son and I were both in need of a diaper change after the horns, lights and alarm started blaring inside the garage! :D

    Yeah, $80 for the two TRD caps! :eek::eek:

    I used Krylon fusion paint for the cover. When it gets a little warmer I'm going to paint the letters and emblem either black or white, haven't decided yet.

    can you tell us about the calibrator? i have noticed some power changes in my truck since it as learned my TRD cai. seems liek it doesn't have the same power it did right after i put it on. i just figured a cat back would help.
