yea KM2s are pricey. For good reason. My cost 980 i think. But thats with insurance.

 

Get them siped. You'll thank me later.

i only have 2500 miles on them or so they are great off road
my buddy has them on his toyota and has about 35k on them and they are still looking pretty good

 

Yeah I love mine I have about 25000 on mine and betting I get another 15000 no comparrison to my firestone destination m/t's that were toast with only 30000 on them

 

The taco had it's Krown rust spray treatment today in the constant battle against rust...as Neil Young says..."Rust never sleeps"!

you'll be shittin bricks this winter if you don't. First snow fall this morning and i was sliding all over the place with my pro comp ext AT's.
Just ordered some Jetzon snowblazer winter tires. 265/75/16 for $122 each

i also put my modded clear corners on today as well as my BAMF BPV braket on. Changed the brakes a lot

Price of tires has gone up I got my 285/75/16 duratracs for 183.00 a piece and when I was looking KM2 in 285's were a little less than that a piece.

 

Discount tire, but this was 4 or 5 months ago

 

Yeah, the price of rubber has and will be sky rocketing! The rubber trees in Asia are getting harder and harder to access. Get your tires now!!!

yep tires are way way pricey. Goodyears are usually cheapish. But BFGs have always be pricey.

And Ben those tires look okay, but would suck i bet just to drive around town with.

Actually some do! At my shop we had this business approach us about buying all of our used tires for $5-10 each depending on the tread left. Then they send them to Japan or something where they would recycle and reuse them.

 

Siping is very cheap, maybe $10 per tire? And i extremely advise you to do that if your running them in the winter. MT tires are a death sentence in the winter. I almost died this morning from the new 2" snowfall we got. And i thought my Extr AT's would be alright... apparently not and they have a little siping.
