People flip you off when your driving behind them with your lights on... Not your brights but your normal lights. It happens to me too much and I think I'm about to slap a bitch next time

 

Happened to me once a few weeks ago. I had to aim them down a bit. 6 inches is a lot to raise your headlights. Not to mention the factory rake that you eliminated.

 

just flash your lights then they will realize that those are your low beams

 

All the time, but not because of my headlights. It's because they're jackasses and driving slow in the fast lane and won't move over in the slow lane. I typically try to speed up on them as fast as possible. If they flick me off, then I flash my brights at them.

I almost never get flashed from oncoming drivers.

 

How does that make it better?

 

It lets them know that you will not tolerate their sensitivity and appeal to the lowest common denominator.

 

OP, if you get flashed so often ever think the problem just may be yours? It could be that you're tailgating or you need to adjust your lights. I have full retro'd front end and never get flashed or flipped off.

 

OP, maybe it's time you aim your headlights if it bothers you that much. I've never been fipped off because of my headlights.

 

Check the aim of your headlights. There are aiming screws on the back of each headlight. Google aim points.

 

I can't remember the last time I was flipped off. It's been a very long time.

Then again, I make sure my headlights are always in perfect alignment, and I absolutely never tailgate.

 

Atleast once a week. People aren't to happy about my HID's lol. Makes me laugh

 

Obviously 2 camps on this one, those that are concerned they are blinding others, and those that enjoy blinding people.

 

Why not do it the right way and throw some projectors in there? It looks much, much better in my opinion, light output is better since it's actually aimed light not just a random patter and you will no longer be a nuissance to everyone else on the road.

I had retros I would still blind people in front of me. Unless I adjust them to aim directly downward
