how bad of an alignment can i drive on to the shop?

    That's the bolt I was referring too. :eek: I don't think adjusting it will bring it out that far. It's used to adjust the caster angle

    The bolt / nut on top of the LR UCA's adjusts camber , the caster is adjusted by the positioning of the balljoint

    my issue is negative camber right? my caster is fine i think mostly... the alignment tomorrow will fix the caster (which is the harder part to adjust right?)

    Your camber is way off . The alignment will fix both

    why not call AAA ( if you have them ) and tell them you don't know why it's doing that and you need it flat bedded to the shop.....

    If YOU don't have AAA, you can also get a friend to call them and have it flat bedded. AAA won't even ask if it's their car or not. ;)

    i have AAA but for 5 miles i think i'll just jack it up real quick and reset the camber closer to zero then drive it there. i'll let you all know how it goes in a bit.

    Te shop says they can't align the UCA's without charging me hourly to adjust them. I am going to get the camber to ~0 but can I live with a 2.0 caster like i installed them? I don't wanna pay 92 bucks to hope they get it right. Does the extra .5 degree of caster matter?

    Eyeball the UCA's until camber is ballpark (tire is straight up and down) and tell them to align like they would a stock tacoma (using the cams on the lower control arm mounting points) and not touch the UCA.

    The whole point of the UCA is to get camber in spec.

    Welcome to dealing with shops and modified vehicles; you should see what they try to pull on you when your bring a long travel truck in.

    i eyeballed the camber and they said it's within spec so that was all good. My caster was fine as well and my toe was off but they fixed it. All for 30 bucks. Not too shabby. They definitely weren't used to dealing with anything lifted. Oh well the truck looks great now! Thanks for the help again.
