    I'm talking to whoever wants to go. I'm going soon. By myself if I have to. I need to get back out before it gets too cold. The whole no doors no heater thing should be interesting in the winter.

    Yeah, I'm going to put the top back on my 4Runner this week probably. I know the heater works decent in it so I'll be ok for the most part. I probably won't get out much unless we do a January trip to Hidden Falls and then until April or so.


    Keep your eyes out for a good deal on a couple of shackles and a snatch rope. Then you will always have what you need for someone else to pull you out. :D

    Working on my hi-lift jack mounts for my 4Runner.

    So far I've used 2" angle, 2 small shackels (for tieing down stuff in the bed), 5" of 1" flat bar, 4 bolts, 5" of 1/2" round stock.

    They are being built to bolt to the factory roll bar. The lower bolt holes on the tubes behind the seats.

    Just got home from furniture shopping with the wife. It seems that what I think it should cost and what they want for it are two different numbers. Maybe in a month or three we can have the cash together to make a move on something.

    Yep; although I believe the practice has been going on since Clinton's days. The difference is now the rules for qualifying keep getting opened up more and more.
